Résumé: Ce rapport reflète l'évaluation des données scientifiques actuelles et conclut que : "Il n'y a pas de bonnes raisons de penser que l'exposition aux champs électromagnétiques d'extrêmement basses fréquences puisse causer la maladie de Parkinson et seulement de très faibles indications pour suggérer qu'elle puisse causer la maladie d'Alzheimer. L'indication relative au fait que les personnes employées dans le secteur électrique ont un risque plus important de développer la sclérose latérale amyotrophique est substantiellement plus forte, mais cela pourrait être dû au risque élevé de recevoir des chocs électriques plutôt que, en soi, tout effet d'une exposition à long terme aux champs électromagnétiques".
